The Joy of Discovery
When people think of adventure for blind travelers, their ideas can sometimes be limited.
When Blind Pilots founder Scott Garrison hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro, he had been talking with Joshua, their lead guide, about music local to Tanzania. He says “On the morning of day three of our trek, at about 14,000 feet, we woke up to black tea and this very special, joyous concert on the side of Kilimanjaro.”
